There are many variations of this simple recipe. Feel free to adjust the amount of cacao and sweetener according to your tastebuds. The amount of nut milk may depend on what sweetener you use and the consistency you desire. Plan for 1 avocado per person.
2 ripe avocados
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
3-4 Tbsp nut milk
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup maple syrup, coconut nectar, or favorite sweetener to taste
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until completely smooth. Adjust to desired flavor and consistency.
