
Spiced Cranberry Nog
(Vegan and Low-Fat)
1 1/2 c fresh cranberries
2 c oat or nut milk
1/4 c maple syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1 1/2 t ground cinnamon
1/2 t ground cardamom
1/4 t ground nutmeg
1/8 t ground cloves
1/8 t ground allspice
pinch of salt
optional: dash of Grand Marnier
(makes 3 cups)
Rinse cranberries. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender until cranberries are broken down and nog becomes creamy (about 1 min). Adjust flavors. Serve chilled or warmed.
